Yesterday was Thai Children’s Day. It is on the second Saturday of January.
My family always has a day out on Children’s Day. Mom and Dad took my brother
and I to a toy shop because they wanted to buy us toys as Children’s Day gif ts.
My brother is always cheerful, and he looked very happy yesterday. The toy shop
was big. The shop owner smiled and greeted us when we entered the shop. He

was polite. There were many kinds of toys. My mom and I walked to the doll
section. My mom said, “You can choose the one you like.” I chose the one in a
long pink dress with high heels, jewelry, and a handbag. It looked really beautiful.

My dad and brother were at the robot section. My brother chose a robot. It looked
strong. It could walk and run, sing, speak, and tell the time. We were very happy.
Af ter that, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious! Then
we went back home. We all looked tired af ter a long day, but we had a lot of fun.
